I am hoping that since Sankey is playing tonight that means Shonn Greene will start. I am desperate for RBs on my FF team.

That sure seemed like a hell of a series for Cole. He was in on 2/3 of all the plays. Tackle's a running back (that Brinkley lost), ranged way to one sideline to help a cornerback corral a receiver and then blitzes and gets under QBs feet to disrupt a play.

Brinkley seems like more of a leader, but Cole seems like more of a playmaker.

Clearly, I don't know anything about farming, but why are they advertising seed in the fall?

I actually noticed that they open all of there manly advertisements the moment football starts. Farming counts.

Ponder throws a pass and fans boo. Hope those weren't for him.

Hutchinson is in the booth? Wasn't he known as a super surly interview?

Could ponder play himself onto another team tonight?

As for the Bridgewater gloves discussion...

When I talked to him in June about wearing gloves, he told me the following:

“If I can get a special kind of glove to wear while it’s raining, I’ll wear one. But the type of glove that I use is only for dry weather… and for snow, but not the rain. I’m just going to continue to do what got me here.”

“I’ll probably have a special glove for when it does snow.”

Yes, he was cooperative but let reporters know with his body language that he didn't want to spend a lot of time at it. So people didn't bother him often. He is trying to now have a analyst career I had read. Funny how that works.

If the Vikings can't find room for Banyard on the 53-man, what are the odds they can put him on the practice squad. Is he still eligible?

He could be surly at times, but very thoughtful and insightful at others. In general a pretty good interview.

I was thinking the same thing. I think he spent time there in the past, so I don't know how much eligibility he has left. Putting down some good tape for someone to pick him up.

I'm trying to find room on this roster for Banyard...I just don't see it.

I really don't think Banyard will be on the roster. I'm sure they'd love to sneak him onto the practice squad, but his tape is looking pretty good so he might get picked up.

Nice grab by Locke to get that snap down. Walsh had to hesitate.

Sendejo missed that tackle twice and got up to try a third time. He wants to make the team.

Zach Mettenberger has looked pretty decent throwing the ball--except for one throw in first half. Hasn't been afraid to chuck it down field.

He hasn't been tested a whole lot tonight but you need him to make the easy ones too!
